I have been keeping track but seem to be lacking in fulfilling the challenge. It is truly humbling to be acquainted to Tammy and her family but I (unfortunately) never had the opportunity to meet Bryce. Their strength, courage, hope, etc. is an amazing example for all. Hopefully I can begin to change my heart and begin to live up to such a great example. And thank you for your efforts with this challenge.

Mikey in Salt Lake is here! I would just like to invite you all to come and participate in the Hug-A-Thon this weekend. In a recent post, Tammy called out a few of us by name to join her in giving hugs to random strangers somewhere downtown. As I have tried to recruit more people for this activity, everyone seems to think this is a great idea. That is for me to hug people. they generally aren't open to the idea that they can/should participate also. It is all about comfort zones. It will be easier for the rest of us to step out of our comfort zones if we have a whole army of peopl doing it. Stay tuned for details of exactly when and where. Even if you can't bring yourself to physically embrace a stranger, come out and give support and remember that the point is to spread the love. If I can even just bring a smile to someone's face, I have done my job regardless of whether we actually hugged or not.

I am Tammy's neighbor. My husband Bryan and I are following this blog. I am not sure where if this fits in, but I am on my own quest to find what will make me a better and happier person. Some days I do okay and some days I wish I could hit rewind on my life and try it again. Thanks for your strength Tammy, Bryce, Dani and family. Thank you for your courage and inspiration.
I am also one of Tammy's neighbors. Josh (my husband) and I are accepting the daily challenges and trying to be more loving. Thanks for all your hard work in coming up with new challenges every day and making this such a great site. It's not always easy, but a little at a time is how we get better. Thanks for all you do with this site!
